help plz i want evo..
Srt-4s are quick and from a roll, more than likely if they are modded then they will beat you stock. from a dig, though, i think you should be able to take them. i havent driven with any Srt-4s myself, but i have been there watching and those Srt's will beat Evos stock.

03-04 evo are just about the same, then there the 05 with some changes, bigger hotside etc...
really my car does a 13.2 on street tires. can i pull that off with a stock 06 evo? and i guess i got lucky with still having a warranty. i have so many mods on my car and they stillfix my ****. they have fixed over 4000.00 in my car alredy. my tranny has been fixed 2 times and some little things. and really i think im going to get a evo. cause it has a longer warrnaty, to me it looks better, i like the fact that it goes 0 to 60 in under 5sec and its turbo. i have always liked turbo cars. i hope im going this sat to get the evo. i hope everything goes ok. and i hope i love it, i think i will.

Your not going to be able to just drop the clutch on this evo like you can with a srt-4, too much torque on the drivetrain and you'll snap your transfer case to bits. There are solutions to that though if you want to have your tranfer case and tranny rebuilt by shep for insane power. The evo's drivetrain is tough just not invincible...
Making this car fast is more about smooth shifting and launching than it is brute force
