id like to know what mods i need to beat the new rs4 audi 420hp i have a full exhaust "3 downpipe with cat delete 80 mm titnuim piping + hks ssqv + trust intake i allready posted this question ont he evo genral but it was removed somehow dunno why any thoughts or information would be really helpfull thanks

 

So your going to mod your Evo soley for the purpose to the beat this RS4?

 

cause its the fastest car in my town so i wanna try with my friend but not sure if the evo will be able to do something and i wanna beat him he shows off alot :S

+ cause ppl dont know the potential of the car and they talk **** abt it

Ahh i see, you want to be the fastest kid in town. Then what? Who cares? Please don't spend all this money just to have the fastest car in your nieghborhood.

 

Since you have a IX:
280 I/E cams
Good tune/flash and
upgraded fuel pump (for safety)
On top of what you have should do it running ~23psi peak boost.

 

Because they are either ricers or jealous. If they were actual car enthusiests they would not just talk **** about the Evo.

 

its not like that at all i got the evo to mod it i like turbo charged cars i had a skyline gtr 34 its was allready modded when i got it i dont know abt evos so thats why i was asking i like speed and power and racing in genral and i have have a second car for daily driving

 

the evo is a tick faster than the rs4 stock vs stock. my dad has the rs4 and the two cars are close in terms of performance but even a slightly modded evo should beat the rs4(i like to think of the evo as a poor mans rs4)

 

if you got alchy with the new ix cams maybe some injectors and a new fmic you could probably own him. if you want to make it a sure thing get like an ams or buscher turbo kit like a 50 trim or a gt35 with alchy and you will completely own him

 

the bad thing with audi's are they are pigs, they might have 4xx horsepower but they weigh nearly 2 tons. To make your car faster, get rid of the intake, get rid of the bov, put the stock ones back on, get a tune. This will make you pretty much even maybe giving the slight advantage to yourself. If want to be plenty faster get a meth kit and get a tune for that.

 

Not sure I agree with the last statement. If I have to describe the EVO relative to the RS4, I'd say the EVO is a hard-core drivers RS4. Not suggesting you don't know what car your dad drives but a stock RS4 should beat a stock EVo--especially from a roll--a stock S4, now that's a different story...

 

learning to shift properly when trying to go fast is a priceless mod and can playa big role in winning a race..

ive seen people have faster cars that got spanked by a much slower car all because the guy lacked driving/shifting skills

 

Do you know how fast the audi is that you want to beat? Like in the quarter mile? cause this forum is full of examples of modded evos that consistently can do certain times in quarter mile with certain mods...
