That's what I was thinking, only problem is, I love both colors that it comes in! I dunno, part of me says buy brand new STi/ Evo IX, part of me says buy a used '04-05 STi, and part of me says to go pick up a beater for a few grand and keep modding the Vette! What I need is a Job that can afford me all three...

Anyone know how much it costs to replace front and back seats on an MR?

I'm toying with the idea of buying this MR that had the seats stolen, but only because they came back to me with a super low price. If I can get the seats and window replaced for a good price, it might actually be worth it to go this route.

Basically they offered me a brand new loaded MR (but I'd have to repace the seats) for $27,500. If it costs me $3000 to restore it (just an example) it could be worth the effort.

Basically I'd be putting in aftermarket seats in the front, and I know how much they cost. I just found out the windows were all fixed already. So anyone know what the back seats would run?

I couldn't imagine it would cost more than $1000. If you don't buy it let me know and I will.

They have two! One black and one gray. They are calling me back around 1 or 2pm to let me know EXACTLY what the damages are. They said the windows have been fixed (well, he said pretty sure they were fixed).

Frankly I'm not so attached to the MR's interior that I couldn't forgo it.

I've been looking but they get bought almost as soon as they are posted up. Also I can't buy the car without at least the front seats as it would be illegal/impossible to drive.

What I'm thinking of doing is picking up some good aftermarket front seats, then have an upolsterer make some rear seats to match.

Do the factory seats have air bags in them?

theres no air bags in the seats themselves, the MR has side air bags unlike the IX but they are like placed on the acual car, like in the door or something, not the seats

might be cheaper and easier to buy some aftermarket ones like you said, im sure you can just find a seat that matches, plus you'll have a better supporting seat than the stock recaros

I found an upholster who can make a complete rear seat for me in leather for around $1200.

I'm thinking I should spend about $1200-$1500 on a good set of front seats and have these guys make me a complete new rear seat to match. I'm sure if I can't find some leather seats I like I can always get some in fabric and have them redone in leather.

So which dealership gave you the screw-job? I' know most of the Jersey dealerships (having lived there most of my life). I could guess but I am curious.

The worst one in my opinion was All-Star Mitsubishi in South Amboy.

The first place tried to screm me on the trade-in, but the price of the evo wasn't bad and that was Freehold Mitsubishi.

Beats me.....this is what tustin mitsu kept saying when I was trying to debate on the ix or the mr..his main point was that the mr has side airbags also rather than how the ix has standard front bags....he even printed me a thing with the options they both came with and it said the same thing...so who knows...sorry

I don't like any of the bride seats, and I want reclining as well.
