Has Anybody Had Any Problems With Their A\C Fan. When The Heat On It Sounds Like The Motor Is Grinding. It Only Does It For A Minute And Then It Stops. It Doesn't Affect The Way The Car Drives, It's Just Annoying. Its The Fan In Front Of The Radiator. I Don't Know If I Should Take It To The Dealer Because I Have Some Mods.

I Dont See It Hitting Anything And I Never Changed The UICP

 

I had that issue with a tightening clamp where the fan on the engine side hit the bolt. Its not a big issue, nothing to really worry about.

 

Do you mean under the hood or the cabin fan?

Sorry, I read. I also noticed it is winter outside so not much need for A/C. With heat the A/C fan only operates in defrost mode.

The cabin fan is noted for running dry of lubricant and squealing and this is an easy fix. So, just to make sure the owner wasn't hearing the cabin fan I asked again.

 

Sorry it took so long for me to get back. It is the a/c fan under the hood. The one between the grille and radiator. It does do it when my defroster is on when it is raining. It's not the cabin fan.
