I've got an 05 Mr, with the following mods, and Im wondering if I should do a fuel pump now

Comp 280 cams
MBC @ 25psi
Coated/Ported o2
Muegen Header
3in DP/No Cat/3in custom exhaust
ARP head studs
Cone Filter
TurboXS BPV
Innovate LC-1 Wideband
Ecuflash/Evoscan/Mistulogger

Im thinking that I do need a fuel pump right about now, and am going to go with a 255lph.

Anyone think I do too? Thanks

yeah you are probably starting to run lean if you dont have one by now with a mbc set to 25 .....i mean what kinda of afrs are you running right now with all them mods and no fuel pump thats scary

 

Should of had a fuel pump long ago.

 

For sure....you should have up-graded your fuel pump when you added the MBC.

Fuel pump was nessacary at like the full exhaust and MBC, why the hell is your boost so high anyway? I hope I missed where you stated you had meth injection or always run race gas.

I agree, that is way too high for pump gas! Yes your FP should have gone on at the same time as the MBC, do you have a boost gauge? WOW...

Both the flash and the mbc require fuel pump upgrade. Especially on an VIII. Get one asap.

 

Get it asap.. I have less mods than you and when TTP was tunning my car a while back, the stock fp wasnt able to keep up.. You WILL need to retune after the fp as your car will run richer like it happened to me

 

mbc shouldn't even be in without a pump, let alone all the other mods.
