well in texas I doubt they care about emissions so just go catless. Unless you like nature. The fact that our cars running without a cat can pollute more than 20 stock honda civics put together is pretty sweet. The whole point is to get rid of the back pressure on a turbo car. so yes. get a test pipe.

$100 seems kind of high for a test pipe, but since backpressure in an exhaust is primarily determined by the most restrictive point, you're pretty much wasting a 3" exhaust by using the stock cat.

Yep, $75 is all you have to pay for a 3" test pipe. Ultimate Racing makes it and it doesn't throw a CEL. There is a port for the O2 sensor built right on it.
