Go to the hardware store and make one. It's not confusing. There is no "the piece." You bought a VTA BOV to go on a car that must be recirculated. In essence, you are downgrading your BOV for the sake of noise (or maybe for JDM-Yo! reasons?).

Be creative. Get a PVC cap that fits and then clamp it down...or keep your stock BOV installed so that your car isn't crappy.

well what makes the stock bov have more of a powerful sound? what about getting the HKS air filter...or just an aftermarket intake?

There's nothing powerful about the whoosh of a BOV - it's all ricer gayness. If you just want to hear your durn BOV, then yes, get an intake. It's very sad that you have the best Evo ever made and only care about hearing the BOV. That's like getting a Porsche turbo and complaining that there's no cup holder, except that if you add a cup holder it won't hurt the performance of the Porsche, but what you're doing DOES hurt performance.

^^You guys think you have it bad here... Try over at Tuners. It has gotten better now, but it used to be every other question was about venting into the atmosphere. Unbelievable.
