when vta a bov how do u plug up the hole on the intake pipe where the bov recirculates into

 

Usually the BOV comes with a plug.

 

i am looking to get the hks ssq and there are two differnt kinds one with a polished pipe with the bov and one without. Which is the best route to go here

 

The best route is to not get an HKS SSQV for your Evo.

 

Dont VTA, its bad for stock evos............

 

Unless I misunderstood your question, you'll need to re-circulate or you'll have major issues, as the Evo uses a "MAF" sensor. If you have a duel BOV, then you can experiment with the VTA/Re-circ settings (I have a BOV that can VTA, re-circ, or both).

if your going to vent at least get a duel port so your venting and you recirc. at the same time

 

How do you set up dual port? are there website or link? thanks for more info.

You don't set it up; that's just how they certain BOVs are made:

- APS has a dual-port
- Turbosmart has a dual-port

you can use a 20oz coke bottle cap and a c-clamp to plug your intake hole if you do VTA. hehe

 

I think they make a recirc kit for the HKS but maybe I am thinking of a different VTA BOV

 

GoFastBits BOV (WORKS sells them too) is another dual-port option.
