guys whats up?

got my 05 EVO MR with 9000 miles, car is completely stock.

I figured this is the place to ask for mods because i have no idea what to do on my car.
im looking for around 400whp.
what do you guys think should be done for this power upgrade?

 

reading/searching is a good start. There is a ****load of info on this site that can keep you occupied for weeks, then you can decide based on all the options you have seen instead of just following something the first person tells you.

Rant out of the way....

Normal first mods, drop in filter, tbe, boost controller, reflash. You're looking for more power than that though, so you're going to have to go further. walbro 255lph, cams, forge diverter valve or mr diverter valve....

time to figure the rest out on your own

search for "buschur warrtalon package" is a good start

 

you arnt going to get those numbers on the stocker without meth. usually with all the bolt ons youll hit close to 330 -340 depending on tune without meth

 

so meth is the key?

 

Meth is not the key, but certainly is one of the better ways. Just as said earlier, you need to do some searching and homework if you want to get there in the best way possible. Your numbers are exactly what I want, and I plan on getting there this summer. I have everything that was mentioned before, but went with a 20G9-5LT as well.. I have the 04 Evo so I was already at a disadvantage than yours is.. anyway, decide what your cost is, what parts are important to you and know that it will take some trial and error to make it happen..
