buying a 05 evo good or bad? help plz

hi im new here im trying to get a 05 black evo at a dodge dealership.
it has 20k miles on it.
the price is $23888
i checked the oil it was dirty blackish color.
the tires were about 40% thread.
the brakes seems fine.
the clutch seems ok it was but not to sure?
how do u know if clutch is wasted?
it felt ok to me dough but it felt like a racing clutch easy and quck to shift.
a but harder than my friends m3.
so what do you guys think good deal or bad im thnking about checking it again this next weekend?

p.s. they removed the evo badges at trunk sign of mods???

thanks in advance

Well best thing to tell if the clutch is bad is go on the freeway on the on-ramp drop it in 4th-5th when your going around 40mph and when you hit boost you will see your RPM's surge and it will feel like the car is slippin... hope this helps

But in all it seems like a fair deal depending on the shape that its in... use your best judgement...

I recently just got my evo 8 about 4 weeks ago but mine is a 2003 and it only had 17k on it. I bought mine from a private owner so what I did was took it to a shop that specializes in tuning evo's. They gave the me piece of mind that I was looking for. Just a thought. I guess it all depends what you have in store for your evo. Mine stayed stock for about a week then all the toys had to come. I knew when I drove the evo for the first time I was in love! LoL!

Good Luck
Vince

looks to be really low mileage, only thing I see wrong is that it was in an accident,
