Yeah, that's pretty much all there is to it. Just takes a few minutes of driving to get used to the feel of the car. Funny though...I've never driven an auto lancer. Even my test drive was stick. Kinda wonder if it feels at all different as far as pickup is concerned.

Yeah same here I haven't driven a stick lancer. From what I've done with my car in accels an stuff it seems too be pretty quick I guess. Nothing to compare it too so I can only speculate.

Auto's in general aren't the best thing to get moving quickly. Having driven auto cars until my Lancer, I know this...blech. Unfortunately, they just don't like having the throttle opened up in one big push like you can with a manny. Just my opinion.

That's what I figured.. but my boyfriend's car and all his friends that have autos are so quick in accelerating and mine just isn't.. guess I gotta start with the mods
