The FQ-400 is a special limited model only sold in the UK.

If you search the internet or this site you can learn more about it.

The FQ400 is a model built for the U.K. market. It has a more power and some other little things. It is based on the MR initially I believe. It would be cheaper to build up an MR to the same specs than buy the FQ, but you have a warranty with an FQ.

This is in the wrong forum though.

Basically you need to go research the model types of evos. FQ series are not sold in America. However, what are your goals with the car? Keep stock? Modifiying? etc etc...

Well the FQ-400 is like $95,000 US. So even if you could get one here in the states that 20G would just be a down payment.

Although it did spank a Lambo on the show Top Gear. But still, way too much for a Mitsu as far as $$$ goes.

IMO, get a IX GSR. Best bang for the buck with the niceties you want in a DD.

Well if he gets flamed, the flamers get points against them so that should cut down on the flaming.

For this kid, I actually would suggest a '03 GSR used. 20G will go a long ways with a '03-'04 with around 30k miles.

uhmm.. is your altima payed off.. seems pretty new.. get your finances str8 b4 doing something you gonna regret.. if mom and dad got it for you and they paying.. that's cool.. then give it back to them.. and with your 20G's go look for an 03 Evo.. and good luck finding a stock one..

Put the $20K into an MLP and turn it into $40K by the time your 26....Then re-evaluate your priorities and decided whether you want / need an Evo...Remember, just because you CAN buy one, does not mean that it is the smart thing to do...
