I have a stock turbo at the moment but I plan on upgrading the the ams gt35r kit sometime in the probably distant future. But I'll be using my stock turbo until I save enough money up. Would an ams street intercooler work well with the gt35r and the stock turbo also??? or would I be better off to plan ahead with the ams race intercooler???

just confused if the gt35r kit even really needs the ams racing intercooler.

please tell me what ya'll think

the AMS race intercooler is really for cars pushing 600+..more like 650 i believe AMS says...now if you were to do a built motor,2.3L etc a race IC would be fine im assuming..

i asked AMS this question as well cus im running the AMS 35R with stock block and they said you can run it,if anything it wont hurt..


i believe you can run it tho and have no issues...

 

if you can afford it get the race is not get the street and if you want to upgrade sell it and get the race. AMS stuff usually can sell for a good price used.
