hey, i have an 06' evo lancer and it feels like it pulls the hardest in 1st gear??is that just how these cars are or is it just me??thanks-Travis

In first you're either going from a dead stop or a low speed, so the force of going from stop to go will usually be greater than speeding up, which is all you're doing after first.

Actually, Reverse will pull harder (if you happen to be crazy enough to attempt a pull in reverse), for the same reason 1st pulls hardest, it is the smallest gear. Reverse is made that way to make it easier to back up (just letting off the clutch rather than having to give it gas).
