i liked the sound. if i am missing out on 5 horsepower, it doesn't really bother me because the exhaust sounds great. not raspy, or abrasive. and it's overtly loud, which is important too for a daily driver.

For some reason when I was reading the first post of this thread, I knew I will find a retarted comment made by Warrtalon...I just knew it.

Warrtalon, the question was - does anyone (that means who owns) regret getting the hks exhaust. We all know what you like, but you're just pushing it too far out there, not everyone is going to go your route...

Exhaust not loud at all, and I love it... Definately do not regret it, and all that ricer crap is just not worth listening to.

So, if I had to do it again (which I will), I will get a cheap, full 3" TBE. Probably Megan. If I would have paid full new prices for my HKS exhaust, I would not be happy.

megan racing TBE, is a really good exhaust, its a full 3 inch SS piping, burnt tip looks really good doesnt hang to low either, has an aggressive angled stance on any evo, doesnt burn the bumper or anything, i bought a different test pipe, the megan racing resonated pipe sounds like an sti more so than an evo, so i bought a ultimate racing test pipe...oh yeah its louder it wont kill your wallet either...its roughly $500-700 for the full TBE

i bought a cheater plug from evasive motorsports no CEL

I had a Carbon Ti on my car and the only reason I got rid of it was because I bought the HKS Spec R. They are both really quiet exhausts, and if it loses 5 hp to something that is louder I can live with that. I'm not building a race car.

had a carbon Ti, got rid of it and got the stainless steel HKS, just looks better. The carbon fiber just went to crap with all the road grime. Dont get the HKS downpipe cause its not a 3 inch. Get a full 3 inch DP with cat delete, its still not even loud at all, nice tone, no rasp. Well, this of course is my opinion.

Uh, excuse me? A "retarded" comment? Who the F do you think you are? There was nothing "retarded" about my comment. Do you even know what "retarded" means? Check yourself before spewing crap like that. I gave my opinion, and when a thread is posted, it is not relegated only to those who own that particular part. I've seen plenty of comments from people who regretted buying it and who still loved it, and the theme for each case was pretty much the same as what I described, so my response is valid. If you look at what Sap did, it was pretty smart...much smarter than actually buying the full HKS Ti for such an exorbitant price.

wich one is "more power full"?
you pay for quality and of corse the TI tip. But without the TI tip, its a good priced exhaust.

... And you're trying to tell me what you said here is not retarted? And I'm nobody, just like you are. You're just too harsh on people, and judge a lot, mind your own business and don't think that you;re the smartest one. You know exactly what I'm talking about (and I'm not just talking about this thread)!
