I'll probably be the first in a long line of people to say, Save your money, don't get a tubular manifold if you dont need to.

Most people suggjest port and polish your stock one.

I have been told to wait until you get a bigger turbo upgrade, but I send you an IM with the website that has Brushed and Polished DC Headers.
IMO I am looking at the full length borla headers, they are more expensive but I have heard a few great reviews.

The borla manifold is much to much for me, but they are really nice. I gave that shop a call but they dont have one either.

Wasn't it dave buschur who said that a ported stock manifold is better than a tubular manifold, because his tubular manifold sucked real bad? Then you have most people repeating this slightly biased information without actually checking the facts.

A properly designed tubular manifold will improve performance, even if you still have your stock turbo, but it's up to the individual to decide if the gain is worth the price.

The DC Sports manifolds was one of the better ones on the market in terms of performance, but it would crack under the heat. I think the megan manifold is prone to cracking as well. I think this is one part worth shelling out a little extra $$ for performance AND reliability.

We recommend porting and coating the OEM manifold unless you want to get a tubular style header for your stock turbo which there is only 1 choice. From what we have tested the ONLY header / manifold that made more than a stock ported and coated one is the Full Race tubular. It comes in I believe around $900 (correct me if im wrong guys).

We offer the porting and coating service for $195 when you send in your manifold as a core. Its cheap and works great. Something else to look into while you have all of this apart is a ported / coated 10.5 turbine housing and a larger 02 housing. We offer both of those as well.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
No need for a tub-mani that will crack. And p/c stockers give the same gains and wont crack.

Here you go:

Ported and coated from PPI - just awesome.

i love how most people have never even had a tubular manifold and yet they just say how the stocker is better. i had the dc sports on my car for more than a year before it cracked. i did many autocrosses and passes down the strip and it made a huge performance difference throughout the entire powerband. boost came on faster and hit harder. the top end was a lot better and for around 300 bucks it is worth every penny and if i can find one for sale i will buy another one now so try it yourself before you say something else is better.
