Stock recaro switch

hello all.
Has anyone tried to switch passenger side and driver side stock recaro seats?
I sat on my driver side for 4 years and rarely sat on passenger side and it feels much better on passenger side.

Is it possible? theoretically, it sounds possible, just switch rail/knobs at side.

has anyone done it?

let me know...

yes you can, just have to move the rails and seat belt latch. Only issue I had with swapping seats is that the 03's have hex-head bolts that will strip out easily due to the bolts having loc-tite on them. The newer Evo's seats have Torx head bolts.

^What he said...You'll probably have a hard time trying to recline the seat with the knob facing the inside if you swapped them but I don't think that will matter.

I have a hard time trying to recline the seat with the knob where it is anyway. I have to get out of the car, and adjust the knob from the rear.

The seat belt locks are attatched to the seats, not the rails.
