Question Fmic

I am thinking about replacing my FMIC with AMS,do you guys think that its worth replacing the stocker or should i spend that money on cams?

first cams. it all adds up though. assuming you have stage 1-2 boltons, I would get a good manifold and then an intercooler after cams... If you have the money, I also recommend you get a custom tune

Stock IC is good for the stock turbo. Unless you are running high boost I wouldn't bother. Go for the cams and you will notice a big difference.

stock manifold is FINE only on bigger turbo can you benefit from bigger prettier manifold

There is gains from a ported stock manifold but not that large. From what i read u can advance timing some with a ported stock manifold Per buschurs research
If u ever plan on going for a larger turbo thats not a bolt on turbo, then dont touch the manifold being u will have to replace it anyway. But if u r staying stock turbo or evo green, somthing like that then porting the manifold would help. But yes do cams b4 your front mount!!

I thought you needed to do the cams after a tune?

^ tune refers to really putting your car on the dyno and they tune it on either EMS or your stock ECU, which basically is the flash. But there are some mail-in flashes you can do, where you send your ECU through the mail for him to flash it with just a list of your mods.
