very tough, had a head and cam SS LS1 fun car and defintely quick ,but like the LT1(last V8 i owned) a bioch to work on, sucks in the rain, snow, speed bumps, gas, and gravel roads. But it is a Z06 so??????
I love vette. I was looking to take my money from the Mo/Kraft split and get a 2003-2006 911turbo but I am just getting the Evo for now. I Will get a 911 some time but with me leaving the army and not sure if I am even going to get another job or jsut live off the wife and stocks
I felt I better wait

Dude look at the future, With the right mods and right tuners you can have an "any car destroyer". My guess would be the mods for a vette would be more than the Evos. Besides Evo owners are more friendly than MOST, notice how I said most vette owners. I have seen some really sick Evos out there, and the only thing I have seen sick on a vette is the exhaust. LOL. KEEP THE EVO!! Also aren't Vette's known for problems, leaks, diff probs, etc.? The only real major prob I have heard about with Evo is the clinking and clunking when backing up, but you would hear that with any racing suspension. EVO EVO you will have more fun with the Evo.
i disagree. i think the evo 8/9 will hold its value like the supras do. if the evo x falls flat. prices will go up
Keep the Evo they are cars you rarely see around, also why do you think he wants to go back to an Evo. Evo's are so much more exciting to drive around than a corvette. You also still have warranty. I'm sure he's your friend, but with that power I'm sure it's been abused or driven hard.
and yes, you could make an evo a 911 turbo killer, but that's not the point. every car is a different experience and being better than a particular car, while very cool to show off about, isn't nearly as important as how much fun you'll have just because the new car is different. how much fun would it be to wring out a variety of good sports cars? probably more fun than just wringing out only one.
for the price you plan to pay to get into such a different vehicle, i dont think that anyone has made a compelling reason to not do it. shoot, get bored with the ZO6 in two years, sell it for a good price, pay $5k for another different and fun car.
