Trade the EVO......???????
Keep the evo!!! Don't get me wrong the vette is pretty sweet love the color!!! You will be happy if you traded but you will definitely want to have your evo back after your house is down and you have some money to play with. Good luck but awesome deal though!!!

Dude look at the future, With the right mods and right tuners you can have an "any car destroyer". My guess would be the mods for a vette would be more than the Evos. Besides Evo owners are more friendly than MOST, notice how I said most vette owners. I have seen some really sick Evos out there, and the only thing I have seen sick on a vette is the exhaust. LOL. KEEP THE EVO!! Also aren't Vette's known for problems, leaks, diff probs, etc.? The only real major prob I have heard about with Evo is the clinking and clunking when backing up, but you would hear that with any racing suspension. EVO EVO you will have more fun with the Evo.
? Evo owners are friendly and so are the Vette owners (there is even a Corvette wave - we dont even do that...). Dont get me wrong, mievo has some great people in it and meets are a blast. But coming from the Vette side, those owners are also very nice, and many are just as knowledgable as some of the Evo friends I have.
Voted Vette. LS6 motor is a beast. Brother has one. I want to get one in the next year or two as a second car.
But hey, your money, your car.

Ok, so the EVO goes bye bye next Thursday. After driving the car and thinking about future costs of both the Z06 out weighted the EVO....i think i may miss the EVO in the long run but with the new upcoming model i believe mine will decrease in value a bit more unlike the Z06 where over time they end up being worth more. So, there will be another EVO owner with my car on this board going all out....from what i have been told he is going for 500awhp on pump gas.
So, in short, nice knowing you guys and im sure ill still hop on and read every so often.

I got a thing for vette's myself.
The Vette motor and drive line is damn near bullet proof. I know guys who have 1/4 the crap out of them 100's of times without 1 failure... Evo's don't have quite that good of a track record. The Evo's interior isn't all that special either, probably about on par with the c5 vette. Sorry guys, but for some reason everyone thinks the evo's interior is just wonderful because of recaro's... My s2k's interior, while sparse, was 10x better in build quality.
