Intresting find

well i had my upper ic pipe yesterday to do some other stuff and while it was off i found a *tornado* yes a real *tornado* the as seen on tv one. I bought the ic piping used and never noticed it. my question is my car was tuned with this in there should I have anything to worry about after removing it??

Nice. I guess a turbine that turns 150,000 rpm just isn't enough for some people. LOL.

I honestly don't know what to tell you. I would imagine that thing is a restriction and you would probably flow more air without it. I would think the MAF would meter it and the ECU adjust for it but, I'm not sure. Ask your tuner.

Those things don't do anything except cause an air restriction. Take it out and throw it in the trash where it belongs with all the other gimmicks.

Have a wideband installed? If you do, take it out and drive a little...watch the wideband. Do the numbers change after taking it out? No...don't worry about it. Yes...Lean?...may want to have your tune tweaked. Watch boost levels too...if it's a big restriction, it may effect those, too.

IMO, it's not worth the eBay listing fee to list it...just trash it.
