First mods.

I am ready for my first round of mods, wich includes a Greddy Ti-C Exhaust, Espelir Downpipe, Perrin Catalys, K&N Drop In Filter. How much power would I get with this setup with and without a tune? and est 1/4 mile times?

Without a tune and MBC? Probably will drop .01 sec. In guess you would still run 13.2-13.3

you may want an MBC with boost cauge and a tune ..
all that will get you close to 310 whp or so .. and should be mid to high 12s .. consider the driver mod, u could be in the low 12s ..

Whatever you decide, get a tune. Mail in, custom, whatever. Those mods are not going to be worth a damn without a good tune. I would wait an extra month or however long it will take you to save up some more cash, just to get the tune.

TBE, drop in filter, MBC, boost gauge, and tune

i'm very, very new to all this tuning stuff. i've had my car 5 months now, but its a beast after all the title says. its easy and cheap. the tune is the key. jestr got me going and after a few logs and reflashes i'm a happy camper. the best 1200 i've spent. not counting the laptop.

thank your for your responses guys. I guess you are right about installing all of these parts without a tune. not worth it. I don't think this is enough parts to upgrade the fuel pump though?

many people find that the car will feels flat after doing your upgrades, that's because the load will shift to a column in the timing map that has negative numbers whereas before it was positive timing numbers and the car pulled strong. A good tune will correct that and make the most of your new mods

have to disagree. i did a base dyno, after parts dyno, and after tune. you can find the results here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=267392

to sum it up, my 9 gained 24.2whp on just parts. "just parts" were the ebay 3" TBE and perrin HFC.

the value of getting a tune is obvious. however, there are meaningful gains to be had with the mods you listed.
