That's what I'll probably do.

im only 16 and im hoping to get an evo. Most people say high schoolers are too young for evo's but who cares what others say! If you really want one and aren't gonna crash it than it doesnt matter about age; only maturity.

Age and maturity are linked.

When you're mature enough not to race on the highway.

Just because you race your car doesnt mean your not mature. Its all in the individual and how they act and drive. I consider myself with my cars pretty mature with my decisions. All my friends race all the time but when we race its late at night on a long straight highway usually just from a roll having fun not trying to break landspeed records during rush hour. I get the point that younger kids are more prone to drive fast and beat things up I see it everyday, but then again its not everykid

At what point does sacrificing education and a future supersede owning a car?

Your life will outlive your evo...don't sacrifice your future for just a car.
No offense, I love cars, I love evos, but I knew school had to come first, and look at me. I'll be a college junior next year and will have my evo.

I think that good parents realize it's safe for kids to have high-powered cars. It totally worked out for the Hulkster and Nick Hogan.
