Perrin Intercooler

I am considering purchasing a aftermarket intercooler after I get my housing and hotside installed. I did some searching but could not find a thread directly on this so if everyone could chime in about the Perrin Intercooler. If their is anyone running it could you post up pics and tell me your likes and dislikes of the intercooler. thanks

Ive got the perrin intercooler. Its a nice unit, youll either have to trim or remove the plastic shield under your engine. At first I didnt want to cut or remove, so I tie wrapped the undertray at the front. Ultimately, I decided to just remove the whole undertray. Very tight fit, almost touches the black mesh at the upper corners. Sorry, no pics.

Yes, it's the largest intercooler you can fit without modification. It barely squeezes in. I actually was able to keep my stock undertray, but it does bulge it outward (down) a tiny tiny bit in the front. Car is in the shop so i can post a picture of the bulge tomorrow if you want. Here is the Perrin on my car though:

Huh? You don't need to remove or modify your OEM Undertray. It was designed so you wouldn't have to. I think this unit is even advertised as being the largest FMIC available that doesn't need to remove the undertray.
