Evo for College?

Does an Evo make a good college car? I am putting some serious consideration into buying an Evo after I graduate high school? or should I buy another car to get me threw college...and buy an Evo after i graduate college?....

depends on ur campus, if its open and not to crowded sure, if it is, get a like a 4 door honda civic, good gas mileage, and u wont really care what happens to get, then have the awsome resale value to stack on the evo when u get outta college, youll be makin good money then when ur outta college too, then its just play time, i say wait

Just get a less expensive Car, and then get an Evo after you graduate. First priority should be School, then everything else or at least imo.

I'm also a 2nd year college student with an Evo. It makes for a great vehicle - you can drive it year-round and it's got plenty of space for laundry, backpack, etc. The only possible downside would be if you drive long distances between home and school very frequently.

I have my evo and im a frosh or was a frosh schools finally over for summer. The evo on campus is a pain in the butt for sure but i think its worth it. I dont like people looking at or touching or door dinging my car. If your not as parinoid or strapped for cash as i am you will be just fine

Its an awful choice if you care about your car getting keyed by jeleous people. I went a a pretty decent school and a lot of nice cars got messed up by drunken people on weekends. Plus most of the people on campus usually have beaters, so they could care less if they open their doors into the side of your car...

I say wait until school is over, or at least until sophmore year when you can get an apartment with a garage.

DON'T DO IT!!!

Save a bunch of grief, I had a crappy car in college and it got keyed (by a hoe that got used like a kleenex), all four tires flat (by another trick) and flipped on its side and I didn't even like the car. If you have any luck with the ladies as I had, your car might as well be painted as a target!!

Just learn how to drive first before getting an Evo. Too many hothead youngins get this car and nearly kill themselves or someone else because they don't know how to handle a powerful AWD car. If you know how to drive, then go for it. Why wait? The IX's are going to sell out in probably 6 months.
