Suggestions on new clutch

Last year in july i replaced my stock clutch that was giong out with the Exedy Twin Disc racing clutch. last week i started to notice a vibration between 2200 and 2500 RPMs. I took the bottom cover off and found one of the fingers had broke off the pressure plate. FUDGE!!!! so i need a new clutch.

Any suggestions on a good clutch taht last a long time (longer than a year) that no one has had a problem with? I know that Exedy is a good clutch, i just kind of got a little burnt on this one and dont want to spend another 1500.00 on a clutch. Was thinking between 500.00 to 1000.00. I would love to get my hands on one of the clutches that Warrtalon only used a few times, if i could get it cheap enough. otherwise i am going to buy a new one.

DO they have a ONE YEAR Warranty on all their products? I would call them first and see how they respond.

I was told that there is no way to know whether the finger breaking was due to manurfacturer defect or inproper installation. I asked if it would help if i have the clutch removed and if i send it to them if that would help determine the problem. They responded with "You can send it to us and we can review it but it could take up to 6 months" first off 6 MONTHS??? i think that i am being taken for a loop. so what i am going to do is have it removed and buy a new clutch to have put in. once it is removed i am going to send it to Exedy and i guess just wait for a responce. when i bought this clutch i was under the impression it would last
longer than the stock clutch.... but it didnt. it lasted 11 months and about 8000 miles... i love the clutch and it still grips hard and doesnt slip, it makes very little chatter except for when i am engaging the clutch... great clutch but it broke so i am stuck.

that is why i need to know what clutch to put in while i wait for Exedy to decide if they are going to warranty the clutch.

Can your clutch be rebuilt, or just the pressure plate replaced. I know that people with worn out exedy's have had them rebuilt for low cost.
