New Guy

I always liked evos. Period. My first car was a tiburon, did a couple mods but it was slow and cheap on the inside. Now I drive an 06 mustang with a few mods, but it's also pretty slow, and I see them EVERYWHERE. It's ridiculous when I see a soccer mom driving the same car as me. So I decided now was a good time as any. I've talked with the local dealer a bunch of times, and I'm putting a deposit down on the X. So I'll be the first person in my area with a brand new evo, built to order.

It's nice to see there's a big online community for these cars. I only see a few around here. I'm going to look around the forum, but what kinds of mods do you guys do? Anything big? Or just small things like intakes/exhausts/tunes, wheels, kits, lowering etc?

This is gonna be fun

Welcome yeah i came from a small horsepower car also. The evo was a big difference between my 94 celica 110 hp lol anyway as for mods i dont think there will be to many for the x since there will be a new engine introduced sombody prove me wrong.

I'm sure there won't be at first, no. That's how it always is with a new car. But about 6 months-1 year into production there will be. I just meant what are some of the ones you guys do on average based on the way the evo is already built. I went from 140hp to 210hp to hopefully next 300-320hp haha. I mostly just want an AWD car and the evo is the best out there. Subaru's are ghey.

If your talking about a v6 06 stang then what do u expect, if your talking about the 3v GT then there capable of low 13's stock w/ the elect. nanny taken care of, w/ a few mods i cant imagine it being "slow".....As for the evo id probably choose it over a new GT myself, which im probably gonna do. From what i got here the basic starting mods are a flash, catback,K&N drop in filter, mbc, fuel pump and maybe a downpipe. Pretty inexspensive mods and they'll get you moving pretty good. Im new to all this myself. American Muscle guy here

Talked to a mitsu dealer with this used IX:
http://peruzzi-mitsubishi.ebizautos....px?iid=1724697

Gonna go check it out today, apparently it's in "mint" condition. The guy I spoke to was an evo buff. He's actually seen the X in action during a trip to Japan. (I'm sure I totally believed him, but that's not the point.) Prices are projected to be about 36-38 starting, but each dealer is pricing it 10 over sticker. The evo has become a $50,000 car. Who would've guessed.

I really just wanna rape all of my SRT4 friends that think they're hot ****... haha
