you probably got your clock spring wet in your steering wheel and it got grounded. just try to get it dry up if not you fried something.

First of all, nobody asked you to comment if you have nothing intelligent to add to the conversation. If you don't like the thread, move on. If you are going to add something though, try using English.

Secondly. I do appreciate everyone's advice - does anyone know if there are any of the yellow SRS wires in the vicinity of the a-pillar?

you can use a "generic" obdII scan tool to clear your SRS light for the EVO

here is the code chart for the SRS system...hope it helps you figure out what it may be. you will have to pull the code regardless and see what it is.

No you can't. People have to read that is says "SRS" not "SES"

I had to get my SRS removed by the dealer after i tried everything with unhooking the battery, took them 5 minutes and they charged me $50, talk about *** violation.

Unfortunately in the evo you would need an SRS reset tool to reset it. Its surprising they would charge 80 bucks for plugging in a computer and pressing some buttons.
