Looking for EVO VIII Intake [HELP]

Hey guys, I drive a 2005 Evolution. When I got it, with only 1200 miles some moron put a K&N Typhoon intake on it. Not only is it a piece of ****, but it sounds like a turkey call when you let off the gas.

I need something as soon as possible!! please give me your favorites...

thank you so much

Yes, but why would I do that when I can get something to help performance because I am upgrading regardless!

What Warr is trying to say is that the stock unit is an upgrade over the typhoon. Also, the stock box is good for about 400awhp with a good filter. If you must have one the hks rs is definitely worth the price.

Yeah, you can run the stock intake box with a drop-in filter upgrade such as Works, K&N, or BMC and have enough breathing capabilty for 400WHP. Best of all it won't upset laminar air flow across the MAF sensor and it's quiet and very stealthy.

SpeedElement.com or 500whp.com, try doing some research on Apexi intakes. I have a HKS RS and its makes a big difference.

Dont get the HKS. Overpriced and foam filters are garbage.

Put the stock MAF pipe (pipe between turbo and maf)

Buy a maf adapter/filter combo from ams or buschur for under $100.

Next time, search or start calling vendors...
