its about $15,000 in US dollars, how much more does it cost to import and all the other shi.? and how are insurance companies w/ these type of cars?
That car may come out to 15,000 USD to purchase, but then you have to find a way to ship it to the United States and get it into the country without customs sniffing it out and sending it back to japan, or even worse, scrapping it. The S15 doesn't meet emissions or crashtesting standards in the US, and will have to be modified so, if you manage to get it into the country. It's a helluva headache, but if you can pull it off, more power to you.

I believe you can. You would just have to show proof of storage if I remember right.

Get a S13/S14 to learn the fundamentals, then switch it to an EVO/Sti.

that they do!! I've been searching for a good rate with a company and the cheapest thing I got so far was with allstate for 2700 every 6 months, can't wait till I hit 25 and then my rates drop somewhat.

i find it very VERY hard to believe that you pay 7500 a year to insure an evo and you have a clean record...........

Tell me you are kidding, You are getting robbed, especially with no points. I know people with prior DWI's that pay far less.

What gives, seriously...

I have USAA since I was in the military. But the next cheapest was Geico. What you have to do is have them review your current insurance to see how they can get you a better rate. Or just register and insure your car in Pennslvania.

Did you consider just adding an Evo to your parents existing policy then paying them the difference? Having more than one car on a policy reduces the cost.
