TBE questions

I have a couple of TBE questions. My current setup is a jun b.l 3" catback exhaust. I am def upgrading both the downpipe and o2 housing. My question is would you suggest going to a test pipe or a high flow cat? I know the test pipe will give me more power but i will sacrifice driveability (sound). Also if anyone has any good suggestions for combos with those three parts that would be great too.

Thanks

well with a test pipe you will not pass emissions. if you are in a state where you have them, you might want to think about that.

+1

More power but the main sacrifice is that you wont pass emissions

You also have the choice of a resonated test pipe. It will give you a more civil sound. I have one and I get absolutely no droning at any rpm.

If you don't mind removing your test pipe everytime you to for emissions and reinstall your cat then go for it. I don't believe you get that much power from the test pipe. My suggestion would be a high flow cat.

does anyone know off the top of their head the difference between a high flow cat a resonated test pipe and a test pipe I would assume this is the order in ascending order of power but to what degree?

Thanks

-Test pipe is just a 3" pipe that replaces cat, straight pipe
-resonated TP is a Test pipe that has a resonator to muffle the sound but does not reduce flow
-High flow cat allows greater flow without sacrificing emissions

In the order top is highest power
