How to best spend $3000

Hey guys, I just thought I'd ask those of you out there how do you think I could spend around $3000 on my 06 Evo. IX SE. It has about 900 miles on it, and I live in Madison, WI. My goal is to have around 320-350whp on the stock turbo. I am close to AMS so this is what I put together:

AMS TBE with test pipe
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
NGK BRP7ES Plugs
AMS Front Intercooler
AMS LICP
AMS Flash
Blitz Drop-in Filter
Total is about $3200 which includes install.

This is what I already have:

SS Clutch Line
Ingals Engine Dampener
GReddy Catch Can
GReddy Radiator Diversion Panel
GReddy Shift Knob
Pioneer D8700 Receiver
Python Alarm
BEL STi Radar
Buschur Polished Exhaust Manifold Cover
DEFI Blue Racer Boost, Oil Temp, and Oil Pressure Gauges with GReddy oil filter adaptor.
Royal Purple 10w-30 Oil and Purple Ice
TEIN H-Tech Springs
Tint

oh, and aan evolutionm.net tshirt

Anyway, does this seem like a good way to go? Maybe down the road I might upgrade the turbo but for now, I want the above whp to play with

The best way that I can think of for you to spend $3000 is to send me a check. But seriously, why don't you do the install yourself and save yourself some money for some more mods? If you can turn a wrench you can do all those installs yourself.

Might make it. A set of cams would be nice too.

I would totally do so, I did most of the stuff I already have myself. The only thing that is stopping me is I don't have access to a lift for the exhaust and I'm not sure how driving it 250 miles w/o a tune would be? The labor was about $500 after the tune, which didn't seem to bad figuring it's being done by AMS

id look in the for sale fourms on here you will get some good deals on some parts.
then more $ for more parts

Why would you need a lift for the exhaust? Just use jack stands.

The AMS parts are great, but that doesn't seem like much for $3200. If you look at the WT package in my sig, then that's only $1270. On top of that, you could add cams ($500), o2 housing ($80-200), LICP ($220), fuel pump ($85), and alky ($500), plus an upgrade to a custom tune ($200 more). That's $just under 3k but without installation costs. That would be a TON more power, though...

Superflyevo makes a good point about the clutch, though. All this new power could have you looking at $1500-2000 just for a clutch install soon after adding the mods...

You can surely drive 250 miles untuned with the parts added - no problem at all.

I wasn't sure if getting cams would be a great thing to do, I was waiting until more data came back on car reliability, figuring mine has less than 1000 miles on it. I was thinking after I got the AMS stuff that later I could go back for the cams and an Exedy Stage 2 clutch.

Yea I know, I love the sound of cams and what they offer but the Evo IX cams are fairly new with no long term data. AMS wants about $470 for labor to install the cams and headstuds, so it would be $1000 of my budget right there.

Then have them installed where it costs $150-200.

That's weird because I asked AMS about that because I heard that from someone else, and they said they were fine, so guess I'll have to inquire again. I've heard mixed reviews on intakes, it is overwhelming the amount of disagreement. I chose the drop-in because it seemed safe, but I like the looks of the K&N with MAF adapter.
