Buying these parts

Unless someone has a serious argument why I should get something else and why:

I am going to buy from Lancershop.com

Injen Cold Air Intake w/ upper & Lower pipe for 368.99

Forge Unos MBC silver 89.00

Apexi Auto Turbo timer Skeleton clear 119.95

Tanabe Ultra Medalion Cat back 695.00

Unless you know a more reliable cheaper source. Well what do you think?

Unless we have a serious argument why and unless we know a more reliable cheaper source? Hah.

- The Injen IC pipes won't do much for you except provide bling, and the intake requires a retune. You can get the same type of intake for $80.
- The MBC is a great choice
- The turbo timer is not needed
- 700 for a cat-back? Is that for real? Is it gold plated?

Lancershop isn't an Evo shop - it's just a web front end for an Internet sales business. They create new domain names for different car platforms to entice buyers to use them. I suggest going with someone like Buschur, choosing a package, and actually making power with the money you spend. The total cost of the items above equals the Warrtalon package in my sig, except your list will make less than half the power...

I Agree. When I began modding I too wasn't an expert and didn't ask for advice and went with a similar set up as the one you described but if would I known i would have gone with the buschur pakg.

power...
do you now the difference between completely intake systems and a cone filter?. For $80 bucks on BS website i don't see no pipe, but just a plain filter.
either way i could get the same Buschur cone filter for even cheaper.

check socalevo and craigslists in larger areas. Just about everything I had on my old car(in my sig) I got from this forum. Wasnt always the exact part I wanted but it did the same job for less money.

Yes, I know the difference, and the difference is negligible. The pipe does nothing for you.
