my MR engages very high as well, almost at the top, as you said

its funny, when people drive my car they are like "why the frak is your clutch so high?"

me too

its funny, because im so used to the high engagement, when i drive other cars, it takes me a while to get used to the clutch engaging lower, so it looks like i dont have a clue what the frak im doing lol

Even my '03 Evo 8 releases high on the pedal. It worried me at first, but after talking to a few others and driving a couple other Evo's it seems like they all are like that. It could be because of the restrictor, and it also could be because the clutch is a "pull type" instead of the standard push type for engagement and disengagement.
