gearbox really hard and reverse wont engage

gearbox really hard and reverse wont engage

Have a twin plate with less than 200 miles.

Slave went on saturday replaced it along with master used cheap liquid im not in the usa.

I have to double clutch to engage gears. Reverse is really hard. Car was fine before.

Springs on the outside of the floater plate are probably broken off

I had the same problem with my Exedy twin.
Sorry buddy you will need to take out the clutch

Bled the clutch and got better. Issue is back will buy a new slave

I had the same problem with an Exedy Twin. Tried all kinds of different jazz (rebleeding, new slave/master cylinder, SS clutch line, adjusting pedal). It only had a couple of hundred miles on it when it started, too.

I ended up just having to cope with it by pushing the clutch in, shifting 3rd gear and then quickly to Reverse. Sometimes 1st gear would be tough, too, so I would use the same procedure rather than forcing it into gear. After awhile, it was second nature.

Now I have a different twin plate and it doesn't have any problems like the Exedy.
