i just bought a 06 evo ix and was wondering if their is just the ix or if their is a mr ix ?what is the differance between the two cars. also wondering is anyone know the effencey of the turbo (cfm/boost) what the maxes are?

There are Straight IX's (GSR), the IX RS, and the IX MR.

If its a 6 spd its an MR. 5 spd it's either a straight IX or an RS. If it's got a 5 spd and you roll up the windows manually instead of with a button. It's an RS.

one has a 6 spd, one doesnt while both models make the smae HP they both have also different suspension.
