got the car dynoed todayy...
ill take a picture of the turbo tomorrow...im relatively new to evos(im coming from a superchargerd mustang gt). anything specific i should look for on the turbo to tell me if its a bigger one? everyone thats seen it has said its stock i also believed it was
the dyno sheet tells all
just look at the power band. its ovious you have a bugger turbo just buy looking at the dyno graph. a stock turbo would make much more power sooner.
it take you 4,000 rpm to make 200whp = bigger turbo
plus the power does not even fall off by redline. if it was a stock 03 turbo the power will drop like crazy by redline

K2- o.k. I just know what it takes to get 350 whp on a dynojet ( the friendly HP dyno) so what you telling us is just crazy. Just try to get you facts right.
dude thats a turbo upgrade dyno sheet!

no he absolutley does not have to have a bigger turbo...if he has a full fuel system whidh isnt always noticible at first glance and has a good tune he good deffinetley hit 350....especiall because if theres adjustable cam gears...it coulda been tuned to get more power by sacraficing spool
Ive listed your mods so its easier to read.
I had a hard time remembering everything and trying to figure out if your numbers are plausible.
injen intake,
megan tubular exhaust manifold
boost controller
bigger intercooler looks like ebay special.
adj cam gears
272 cams
stock exhaust
350.3hp at 20lbs
other mods that you need to identify:
-whether the hotside has been replaced or not. This is hard to check btw. Most likely it has been swapped out. Stock 03s came with a 9.8cm hotside and the popular swap was to get an 04(?)-05 10.5cm hotside. I believe this was worth about 15-20 whp (generous)
-downpipe
-hollowed out cat
-after market fuel pump. If you do have cams, you need a pump. Definitely check this. The stock one is army green( at least mine was). After market is usually silver. Can someone with an 03 pump verify this?
Based on that mod list, I would say possible given that the dyno was a little generous, it was a cool day, and the car was tuned on 93oct.
Its just the stock exhaust that seems a little out of place. Check for pictures of stock exhuasts and compare them to yours. The stocks have 2 resonators toward the back end of the long pipe.
Do you know what octane was in the tank when you were dynoed?
Have you checked the trunk or the upper intercooler pipe for signs of a alcohol kit?
(I really doubt this but you never know. Evo owners are crazy)
While a bigger turbo is possible, I remember my turbo being laggy when I first got my car. Id hit full boost right around 3800rpm. (05 gsr) This tends to make me think that it IS a stock exhaust with a stock lower intercooler pipe. Those two things will greatly improver your spool.
Thats all I can think of right now. I hope this helps you a little.
