What counts is the curve which is very nice
I can attest to "the shop" being slightly over rated in #'s. I had my car dynoed and went to the track later that week. The MPH indicated a 6-7% discrepancy to the dyno #'s. Not smack talkin about the guys or service at the shop. I would go back if needed. They shoud adjust their dyno though.
His results are great for the known mods. He probably has 20g or white rabbit turbo or similar stock appearing turbo on there by looking at the dyno curve. Keep in mind his Hp and torque curves will be later with a stock exhaust....

i so either thats an engine dyno or you have a much larger turbo
On a dynojet with stock 03 turbo(9.8 hotside), stock cams, full 3 inch exhaust(high flow cat), 02 housing, fuel pump, intake, boost controller, 23 psi I made 308 whp/307 tq.

hmmm... let's see:

1) stock-appearing turbo
2) power about 30whp too high for given mods
3) spool-up about 400rpms later than stock
4) torque spikes and continues to fall 'till redline...

Green turbo FTW !!11!!!1!!

This one is a puzzle. I will take a different approach:

Get a 3" Turbo-back and some injectors on that baby and go get retuned, maybe at a different shop. Then post some new numbers.

His torque curve is a stock turbo (or sized, like FP Gree) curve, but it is not the curve of 20 psi.

Does Turbo trix have a Dyno Dynamics? It reads a lot lower than a Dynojet. For comparison my 300whp = around 270 whp on a Dyno Dynamics.
Remember this is on 93 oct. I am sure your 359 was with race gas correct?

i thought evom was here for ppl exactly like "k2" to get help in situations like this, not bashed.

i'm with the ppl who say swapped turbo. maybe 10.5 hotside or evo 9 20g ? either way nice numbers WITHOUT an exhaust! first step, get a full 3in and check your tune (if you have one) and DEF. a 255 pump. keep us posted. G/L

The turbo is as stock as it can be for an evo 8.

Dyno dynamics and mustang dyno reads like 10% less than dynojet, which means it'd read something like 380-390 on dynojet. The number that usually go with maxed out 20g with pump gas and no alcohol on an evo 9.

Generally with your list of mods (stock exhaust, stock turbo, 20psi) no matter how good the tune is and what the supporting mods are (well unless you have nitro or something) it should read about 240-250.

Perhaps the shop gave you the printout of the car that was on the dyno before yours lol.

Don't bash the OP, he is also puzzled about his high dyno readings and trying to figure out whats going on just like you guys. Thats probably why he posted at the first place.
