I picked up a brand new IX MR for 35,500 in Jacksonville Florida. 32212

They are tough to find new now. There were only 5 new ones within 400 miles of me and 4 of them were RS's

$36,000? When I went and looked at new ones the salesmen were practically begging me to take them off their hands and were offering at or below invoice! Even for the MR SE!

I bought used because I had to have white, but there was no question it was IX all the way. I can't stand the front end on the VIII. And the MIVEC is a bonus.

I diddnt realize that the mivec made that big of a difference. I thought it was an economy thing.

Mountian mitsu wants 50k for their mr se on the web site. The local dealer here has three and mountian has a few too. I know south coast mitsu has by far the best prices ( 34k for mr se ). Mountian has said they will match any writen offer. I might have to try and work that out. To buy a new one I will have to sell my sr20det 510 project. i have sold my jeep and turbo gran prix, but the STI is still up for sale. It might go this weekend tho.

Thanks for all the input
