I was looking around today and i found these headers http://www.stikiller.com/product.php...cat=277&page=1
i dont usually see where anyone has put aftermarket headers on their evo.. so i was just wondering if anyone has used these or if anyone knows if they're any good or not..any info is appreciated.

Please search under "exhaust manifold" not "headers"

I have that Megan manifold and i'm happy with it although you don't really need to upgrade your manifold until you upgrade the turbo. Just get yours ported and coated and you'll be happy.

I've heard the Megan Racing manifold cracks alot, You are probably better off just sending yours off to Buschur to get it ported.

I have the Megan on my evo. I haven't had any issue with them. STIKILLER is way expensive on that manifold.

Porting the manifold removes the material where the exhaust manifold hangs into the area of the gaskets where the exhaust gas is supposed to flow. This smooths the path the gases will take and reduces turbulence. Coating the manifold helps the material retain more of the heat transfered from the gases flowing through it as well as heat transfered from the engine block. This allows the exhaust gas to retain that energy which the turbocharger uses to spin the turbine.

Cliff Notes: Hotter exhaust gases flow more easily to the turbo
