New member / glad to be here.
Hey everyone,
I am a new member here and just got my new 06 Evo MR. I've only had it for few weeks and love it! Will post some pics soon. Just wondering about the new car brake in period. My Mitsu dealer has told me to keep it under 4000 rpm first 800mls and after I should be pretty much all set. Hmm sounds easy enough...
Thanks all in advance and looking forward to chat with you all.

Welcome and congrats on the new car!
As for break in, everyone has different opinions. Personally, I just use common sense and go pretty easy on her, but open her up once in a while during break in.
Good luck, and post some pics!

This is my first turbocharged vehicle and I'm sure you all know what that's like. LOL
I've been reading about Evos for a while before deciding on actually getting one. I use to have a S14 Silvia prior to Evo and was ready to do a motor swap and all that but then changed my mind at the last minute sold it and took this road instead. I still haven't really find out what the car can do since its brand new but I am sure I'll roll up some miles on it soon enough where I will feel comfortable of testing its capabilities.
My plans are to keep it looking stock as much as possible but concentrate on the performance. I always say no sense of making car look pretty if it aint going fast!
Will post some pictures in a few days.
