I upgraded my eight after the break in. Ended up with 322whp on a mustang dyno. My SE was stock up until last week. I decided to go milder with more well thought out parts, picked up two parts and did 285whp on a mustang dyno. Spent around 800 bucks plus the custom dyno tune. If you dynojet guys multiply the numbers by 1.10 you will roughly get the conversion numbers.

Yes the 03 evos are slow by today's standards. When the 03's came out they were making 200-205whp on a mustang dyno. The last few IX SE have made around 240-245, and with just a custom flash make about 260whp.

Hi all, I'm happy with stock at 13K. I once had a vehicle that I modded fully, and was never satisfy. But I finally beat the "Bug". It's always nice to see cars that are modded though. These forum are great to find news, about the fella that has 67K on the clutch. Then someone got better gas mileage with some mods. Also about the warranty, its good economical sense. Like I said I played with modifiication before & know what a lot of power feels like, so once you had it, and some like me don't need it anymore.

mine is still stock @ 16.2k. I just have a K&N drop in, which i bought after like 100 miles. I got this car from my parents last sept. for my birthday, but i dont have any money to mod. dont even have money to put gas into the tank, using my parents gas card from chevron. sucks that my parents arent willing to pay for mods

just graduated from college and started looking for a job. i already know what i want to do after i save up some money. For the first round of mods:

Full Mines exhaust system: Mines Silence-VX Pro Titanium, Front Pipe, Sports Catalyzer
JDM IX rear bumper
Ralliart CF front lip
Orbital Kit w/ Eclipse AVN 5510

roughly around $6000 in mods, but at least i already have the orbital kit

That's good, because I was about to say that they stopped making them. Let me know if you end up wanting to sell it :P

with $6000, my car would be making 400 hp

I'm at 14,500 mi on my MR and I am still stock, BUT i do have a TBE ready for install and tune when Spring comes.

I hope your not serious. You get a $36k car for free with no payments, you don't pay for gas and you complain about them not paying for mods? I don't care if your in college or not.

Thats pretty pathetic IMO.

Try paying for a car payment AND modding your car at the same time while trying to save money for a house and pay bills.
