First 10 Evo Mods?

I'm getting an evo soon, and I am wondering what are the first 10 things I should do to it?

When I first got my RX-7, I looked it up on the internet and found a bunch of things that I should replace and change, and a few things that I should get. I looked all over the place for a guide like this, but haven't found one for an evo.

What are the most important things I should do to benefit/improve my evo?

2. Lots of neons and stickers. Makes 100 hp each. More stickers make the car faster.

...... LOL. Intake and exhaust I think would be a good bet to improve first. (^_^) Don't do what I said up there. I was joking. =P

First ten? Don't even go that far. 1. Do a search or ride the newbie forum

2. TBE, reflash and a MBC will do you just fine

3. Invest in some instructed track days and save money for a clutch.

otherwise, you won't need most of this stuff for the first couple of months

he put it on the right Section ! so we should give him a straight Answer ..

but here is the first 10 Mods i would do ..Assuming you gonna stay on Stock turbo for its full Power.

1- TBE "Catback, Downpipe, Testpipe or cat" of your choosing
2- Filter or Intake .. your choosing
3- MBC and Boost cauge.
4- Walbro 255 Fuel pump " a must"
5- 02 housing
6- Intercooler pipping "AMS or Buschur" or any brand to your liking
7- FMIC "intercooler core" Best choise would be AMS, buschur, ETS.
8- Ported Exhaust Manifold "Worth few more HP" better than cheap manifolds.
9- Cams , of any brand to your liking
10- Most importantly TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE

or just Visit the AMS or buschur Official site and check out their Stage Packages ..

You're joking, right? Who the fruck knows? The car hasn't even been tested yet, not to mention a big blank as to reliability.

Please excuse me for being blunt, but you don't even have the car, yet, you haven't driven it, so why in the world do you want to mod it?

Why don't you concentrate on learning to drive the thing, first, and then mod it per your needs! Dolt!!

Why do you fell the need to do it, anywat? You question is the epitome of rice.

He is not talking about the Evo X "Ten"

he is talking about the first Ten Mods you would do to an Evo.

I think when you buy a RX-7, there are several reliability related mods to get. For the EVO, if you buy used, I'd replace the fluids and get a boost gauge. Performance mods are nice but the stock EVO does not have a performance flaw (unless you count the understeer at the limit).
Otherwise, it responds to mods like most other turbo cars...

understeer at the limit? change your tire pressure. you can do a lot to the dynamic attitude with tire pressures.

My mistake and I apologize; however, the rest of my comments stand.

Thanks for the correction.
