New evo owner

Hey everyone my name is Zach. I used to have a 2002 Honda S2000 that was totaled out last month. I had been looking at the STI or the EVO as I need something a tad more practical. I saw this deal next door to my dealership at Audi and I couldn't resist. It is a 2005 Evo 8 MR with 11,000 miles on it. Previous owner did a turbo timer and Apexi exhaust. I'm really liking it so far. Hope to get some track experience soon to learn the limits of the new *****.

The old.

The new

Oh btw got it for 25,000 OTD.

Nice pick up Turbo timers aren't really needed on these cars though.

I LOVED my s2000. I got much greater driving pleasure out of it than the Evo, but on the other hand, right now I need something a bit more practical.

Ha that would be correct. But what I meant is, in the s2k you have a greater feeling and sense of being 1 with the road.

Anyhoo....did anybody find rev matching and heel-toeing more difficult in the Evo?

yea, it did seem that way for me at first, but you'll get used to it. Also, you don't need to kick it as high, no 9000 redline in the evo. haha.
