Beginners Read Me: New To Your Evo Or Looking For An Evo?
very informative thread, however, i'm reading after owning my EVO X for 3 weeks now lol. I too was very skeptical when considering a used EVO on a lot of issues commonly associated with them. However, I was giving a great deal on a new X out the door for just shy of 31K.
I think the X specs should be added to this list for a consolidated thread or start a new sticky w/ just the Specs. Thanks.

I really liked reading through all the pages of this write up and random comments.. but question.. is there a suitable place to find options in the different models? ie should this one come with a sunroof, subs and a whatever.
i mean this was a great start:
but what if i want to know which one has a 5spd or a 6? compression change in any of the years? ie whats stock and whats not
i mean this was a great start:

I've noticed quite a few suggestions. It's great to see folks take an interest. If any of you want to compile a cogent addition to this thread, I'm sure the mods will consider including it.

Goes without saying that this thread is invaluable to those looking for Evos. Thanks for putting it together. It should linked in the site welcome email if you don't enter a car in your profile.
not sure if this question should even be asked in here haha sorry if it shouldnt. but im lookin for an evo to pik up in a couple months but i wanna start gettin some info and learning. not new to the turbo world tho. i really like the old style evos but if imma spend around 22k-25k on a clean evo 8 or 9 with low miles. would it be worth it to just pick up a evo X?? i know its mostly personal reference but i want some opinions, thanks in advance
