Very new to the evo seen, I bought an 05 evo 8 and absolutly love it. It's been tuned & modified by English Racing bringing 505 awhp on the dyno. If anyone has any advice that can help me through owning this Evolution, I would really appreciate it.

hey guys, for my 20th birthday my dad had bought me the 06 model evo IX gsr, it has the ralliart packages, like suspension and ralliart exhaust, bbs wheels. im not sure what else. ive been driving it now for couple of months.

i have little dilemma about my first modification, ive been saving up to $1500 dollar, i know its not much when it comes to modifying an evo. so, for the money to power ratio, why should i do with the car? getting a boost controller or re-flash the factory ecu? the think with just putting boost controller is, i know i can only higher the boost, but i cant set the fuel consumption, im affraid it will be too lean. im not sure if i can higher the boost with just re-flash the factory ecu. please tell me more about this stuff, i had search about engine management, but they dont have threads about factory ecu in here, or do they?

i dont think ill be able to purchase haltech ecu with this much. also i want to put the MR model BOV as its better than the GSR model, can you point me to the right direction please?

most likely this question has been asked, but i went all the way to page 16, and mostly saying "nice sticky threads", so please forgive my incapability of being patient.
