Evo 10 Dreams...

Alright guys. My first post so I hope I'm in the right area. Well, right now I drive a tC, but I want an Evo 10 BAD! The only thing is I heard a lot of bad things about Mitsubishi. Now, obviously, you guys are Mitsu fans, so please give me real info and not biased info. I hear they have a lot of electrical problems and mechanical problems, is this true? I notice so many Evos for sale for hardly nothing...any reason behind this? Also, as far as the car goes with the turbo...obviously it has a factory tune since it is a turbo'd car, does the weather changes have anything to do with the car and how it runs beings it is turbo'd? I know for turbo applications AFR is everything and the weather cahnges can be very drastic here in south Louisiana. Also...random question...how much boost does it have stock?

Thanks in advanced guys!

But nothing that would harm the car as far as running too lean with the AFR, right?
I guess waht I'm getting at is, I don't want to ahve to tune 2 - 3 times a year due to weather...

Mitsu makes some really ****ty cars... Yes. But I beleive that the evo is a definite exception to that generalization... but that is just my opinion =)

I live in michigan and have no issues with it nor do any of my friends with their evos' or STi's. I dont think you will have to worry to much as why cars are being sold for cheap? Remember if you are buying a used evo even with 20k miles on the clock. its a perfomance car and that it was driven like that . they hold there value better then subaru does. I would do some more research everything you have questions to can be found with the search

The Evo is an amazing car and Mitsubishi Japan did a great job building it. Tough, fast, reliable. Unfortunatly Mitsubishi Motors North America pretty much has had it's head up it's *** forever. As far as sales, service, warranty, customer relations.. MMNA fails year after year at all of these things. They even spent alot of money on a ad campaign where they "stand behind their cars", unfortunatly it didnt change anything at the dealerships, service bays, managers. That's too bad because they could be better than they are.

I'm happy to own a Evo, I just dont go to the dealer and will only visit them if absolutely necessary.
