I learned in a little single cab, 4 speed Isuzu truck when I was 15.

Bought a Ford Ranger 5spd and got good at it there.

5spd eclipse Gst... 6spd Hyundai Tiburon.

Come to think of it, in 5 years i've had 6 cars and only one was an automatic... a 98 Cavalier (High school beater.)

You "lerned" [sic] how to drive when you were 10? Actually behind the wheel? If so, you must've been a tall ten year-old.

Funny that you've said you've had four cars but under your name, it says "Drives: not yet." Care to explain?

I was 16 and was forced to learn (luckily). My dad bought me a Honda CRX from a co worker for $1,700. It was my first car and I learned to love it.

hope you're ok driving it man. an Evo as a first car, is probably the worst idea ever. Any parent that would let there kid have an Evo as a first car, is completely irresponsible. Not only do you have nowhere near enough experience to handle 300ft-lbs in an AWD car, but at 16 you wouldn't have the self control not to street race any punk that revs at you. as your first car, your going to learn some hard lessons, i pray you don't kill anyone in the process.

I would think that parents would assume that a four-cylinder car with a $30k+ price tag must have something lurking under the sheet metal to carry that kind of a price tag.

My evo was my first manual transmission, I learned to drive stick with it.
no big deal, im 20. Had it after a week, but i had 2 cars prior so i was familiar with driving and road hazards. Gotta know how to handle the roads too homie.
