There IS an MR se. You cant get a regular MR in black though

So to the OP, if you want a black MR, MR SE is your only choice.
If you want a Silver or grey MR, you can get an MR SE or just an MR
If you want a white or red MR, you cannt get an MR SE

The only diff between the two are the front lip and redstiched seats (and diamond black bbs rims)

No MR with the appearance package (SE package) has an SE badge that I know of. Mine didn't.

There are a few other things i dont remember. Some mentioned the extended air dams, i have those.

So pretty much you get an MR with a kick of SE.

I have heard that MR SE's are not made form the factory that way. They were a dealership thing that dealerships did to try to sell more but im not sure exactly if thats true.

So if you really want the red stitching and what not go with the MR SE. I dont think its really worth that much extra money for it. I got mine only because i bough it cheap with 396mile on it but TOTALED

I thought the main difference between a SE & an MR is the SE comes with a 5 speed???

Edit: I guess you can get a IX SE and a MR SE. hmm, learned something new I prefer the IX SE!

Wrong on almost all counts. There IS an MR SE (which is what people call it), though its OFFICIAL name is MR (with the Appearance Package). The MR (without the Appearance Package) does have the same lip as the IX but not the same lip as the SE. The MR has the BBS wheels in anthracite, while the SE and MR SE (Appearance Package) both have them in Diamond Black.

No, the MR SEs came in the same colors as the SEs... silver, gray and black. Perhaps what you meant to say is that if you wanted a black MR, it had to be an MR SE, since the MRs (without the Appearance Package) weren't made in black.

And if some comes back and says yes it is, you got a lot of convincing to do as I call total BS..!!
I'm more than happy to put the 1001 'haha' right in there with you man. I cannot personally vouche for this. There is a thread on here somewhere that was a long winded dyno comparison on a few MRs and MR SE's showing better spool on the MR SE (supposidly) by a tunning shop here in MD. Do I personally believe it? As far as I'm concerned, the evidence was inconclusive. Do I care? Not really! I like my MR SE for what I can see. I really wish I could find the post I mentioned but I honestly can't remember where it is. They did have some pretty interesting dyno charts though. But for what it's worth, although the mods between the MR and MR SE were near identical, they were not stock to stock - hence I say, it's inconclusive. You can take that idea with a grain of salt. But it was an interesting read non-the-less.

N I C E ! ! !
I like the 2013 thing. Seriously, where did this 2007 deadline come from then? Are these dealerships just making **** up out there ****ing asses? What's worse, i've heard it from dealerships that were NOT even mitsu as well. Dealerships never cease to amaze me.
