itall just run of wastegate preasure, not sure on the X's but like the 8/9 drop down to 11psi instead of 17-19

Be more realistic to buy a mbc and just turn it down so you can turn it up later on with you deciede to go higher.

I normally turn mine all the way down when i drop a new clutch in so i dont accidently get on it

Don't disconnect the boost solenoid line .. you want to bypass it and run manifold pressure directly to the wastegate for lower boost pressure. Unhooking the line will actually make it run maximum boost. Running wastegate pressure will not hurt the engine.

You'll probably lose 40 - 60 hp I'd guess if wastegate pressure is around 11 psi like the VIII and IX.

Honestly though ... just exercise some restraint and don't floor the throttle until you are comfortable with it. Or on the other hand, do floor the throttle in a corner in a remote location and let the car scare the hell out of you one good time ... it'll make you more cautious in the future. And no, I'm not joking about it ... just do it where you aren't putting anyone or any property in danger.

It would void the warranty, but nobody would ever know, its easy to take out. The dealer would not do it for you, but any racing-type garage in your area could.

yeah what gives 06 GLI/ 04 STI/ 17 YO.. what the hell do you do for a living.. and by looking at the cars, you dont consider an STi a sports car or sedan..

Why you seem so concerned about the power, it isn't much especially if you been drving around in a STi..

I would recommend to get the RA, dont want you to spend all that money on a X and have any doubts..

yes my GLI was MY DD but the STI was my dads that i would take out with him on the weekends never alone... So i just have a feeling that if im alone in a EVO at first i dont want2 push the car and get myself into trouble.
